Story
After the failure of his previous attempt to invade Peach’s Castle, Bowser and Koopalings re-invade the castle with the same strategy from the last invasion, this time without abducting Mario due to him not being present. After being launched to distant lands, Luigi and two Toads begin a journey back to the castle. This time around, Nabbit becomes involved in the quest, helping Luigi and the Toads to rescue Princess Peach once more.
Review
Mario games are always one of the best games to get into gaming. With child friendly gameplay most of the time there is just not going wrong. One of my first games I grew up with was a Mario game and I got hooked up ever since. I also love platformer games so playing a Mario (or in this case Luigi) game brings me back to the origin of Platformer games. I played Super Mario Maker quite often on my livestreams and one of the first thing I realized was the movement of Luigi. With his poor movement on ground but the ability to jump higher then Mario it was quite a struggle to play this game. Also the limited time per level was a bit stressful. Where a normal Mario game gives you 500 seconds you now just had 100 seconds.
Pros:
+ Mario games are always a plus
+ Quite easy to play but if you think this is to hard just play New Super Mario Bros U
+ Good sound effects
+ Fun Level designs to play on
+ Nostalgic feeling while playing Mario games
+ Platformer game
Cons:
– Short game but only played the story
– Luigi’s movement is quite a struggle
7.8/10 Certainly not the best Mario game out there. With his short play length of estimated 4 hours and the poor movement quality of Luigi this game did not end up higher. But I had loads of fun with it so that’s what really counts!
