Guide two brothers on an epic fairy tale journey. Control both brothers at once as you experience co-op play in single player mode. Solve puzzles, explore the varied locations and fight boss battles, controlling one brother with each thumbstick.

A man, clinging to life. His two sons, desperate to cure their ailing father, are left with but one option. They must set out upon a journey to find and bring back the “Water of Life” as they come to rely on one another to survive. One must be strong where the other is weak, brave where the other is fearful, they must be… Brothers.

I really had troubles with the movements of the two brothers at the start of this game but after 30 minutes it was going much easier. I really enjoyed the beautiful, calm and big environment even though the game wasn’t that big. It took me around 2.5 hours to beat this game, but it was worth every minute.

”This game isn’t just playing a video game. This game feels like you are that main character in a beautiful movie.”

The graphics look stunning and the story line is short but amazing. It is amazing to see how they can tell a story without using any words.

Pros:

+ Story-line is short but amazing
+ Music and sound effects are beautiful
+ The graphics look stunning
+ The setting and artworks are amazing
+ Even though it is a sort of puzzle, walking simulator game it made differences with the boss battles
+ Simple but well over thought puzzles
+ Story telling without actual words

Cons:

– I had some struggles with the movements of the two brothers but I got use to it later on
– Sometimes some small bugs with the hitboxes colliding

This game is so beautiful, short and easy to play. the only con for me was the movement even though I got used to it. It has some small but easy puzzles in it. It has a beautiful story line, which will make you cry (at least I did) and The graphics are amazing (for a game out of 2013). This game is a hidden gem and I just feel bad that I did not play this game earlier!

8.5/10 This game is awesome even though it was 15 euro, I think it was worth it. It was a short game. The hitbox issues and movement struggles made the rating lower. This game is still a must play though. Be sure to get it, if you are able to pick it up somewhere!

  1. LOVED this game! Was the first game I completed in 2017 actually – got it on a Steam sale years ago and finally played it. It was interesting controlling two separate characters with different joysticks, I wish more games used this mechanic. Your brain somehow gets used to it after a while.
